St John’s Kids Registration Forms

If you haven’t already done so this year, please complete our St John’s Kids Registration form for your child/ren. Keeping details up to date, helps our team communicate well and keep kids safe.

If your child/ren don’t attend our in-person program at the 10am service, please still fill out the form so that we have your details for special events that we run through the year.

Bibles for Bubs

If you had a baby in 2021, the Bible Society would love to gift you with a Storybook Bible now and a full Children’s Bible on your child’s 5th birthday, as well as other gifts each year in between.

Register your baby here and/or pass this on to friends and family who had babies last year.

Family Discipleship

It is a great discipline to create a special time each day to spend with your kids, reading the bible and praying together, but Family Discipleship is also about intentionally leveraging moments throughout the day to turn your focus on God e.g. chatting about creation when on a walk or doing some gardening together, or taking the opportunity to pray for the sick when you see an ambulance.

It can be hard though to always know how to link God into everyday activities, or what to read together each day, which is why I often post conversation starter activities linked to our sermon series in this blog. But you can also find family devotion guides online or at a Christian bookstore. Pop into the Greensborough Christian Bookstore or Koorong sometime and peruse their range and ask for advice.

Another idea is to utilise some time you spend in the car on the way to school, or swimming, or music lessons, etc. by listening to a podcast and using it to start conversation. The Word On The Street is an Australian, Christian devotional podcast for families. Each episode is just 10 minutes and is a great way to add some teaching and chatting to the family routine.

Have a great week,

Kylie – Children & Families’ Minister
