St John’s Kids – 22 November 2020

 SUNDAY 22 NOVEMBER

Today’s Services:

Access our streamed services here.

Today we start a new series of talks, looking at Hebrews 11 and the topic of Faith.

Parents, have a chat with your kids about what they think faith is.

Usually, we believe something because we have seen it. It is very human to want some proof before we place our trust in someone or something. Faith though, is believing first and then seeing results. One of the principles of faith is that it looks forward to promises to come. Faith is not based on what we do, but who God is. And the bible gives us what we need to have this faith. It shows us who God is and that he can be trusted because he is always true to his promises.

Grab your bells, shakers, other musical instruments and get your voices ready to sing True North, reminding us that our hope is fixed on God and that, through faith, he will be our compass and guide.

Activities, if needed, to keep hands busy while listening to Julie’s talk:

Survey:

2020 has been a year full of unique challenges and we want to know how you are going and how to best serve you, as we head towards the ‘new normal’. We’ve put together an anonymous survey, which should only take a few minutes. We are trying to get a snapshot of our church family – and that means kids too! So, if you have young kids or teens in your household, we’d love them to complete it too.

Please submit the survey by 30 November.
