Embark on a visual journey through the tapestry of the Nillumbik community at TOGETHER. This unique showcase will combine the diverse talents of local artists, uniting their creativity in a symphony of colours, forms, and expressions.

TOGETHER 2024 is inviting local artists to display their work in the welcoming space of St John’s.

Art has the power to transcend words, fostering connections that go beyond the ordinary. TOGETHER aims to be a space where community members connect, resonate, and find common ground through the language of art.

We’re inviting all local artists to submit their works for exhibit at TOGETHER.

THE SUBMISSION FORM + FEES:

PDF forms are available here. Please return in forms to the church office, or scan and email to together@stjohnsdc.org.au

The submission form and images must be submitted by 22 March 2024

Please submit photos of your work to be included on the website. Only high-quality images will be included.

MONEY TALK:

The submission fee is $15 per work, with a limit of up to 4 works per person. This can be paid on delivery of artwork, by card or with cash.

No commission on sold works will be taken.

DELIVERY OF WORK:

Work can be delivered to the St John’s rear entrance on 15 April, from 10am – 1pm.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS

All 2D work must be framed and fitted with D-rings and hanging wire. Canvas works don’t need to be framed but will require D-rings and hanging wire.

All work must be original and created by the exhibitor.

Submitted works must be clearly labelled with the artist’s name, title of work, and the price (if applicable).

Works will be accepted and displayed at the committee’s discretion.

All care will be taken to safeguard the works. No responsibility will be taken for damage to works due to causes beyond the control of the Committee.

SELLING MERCHANDISE:

The opportunity to sell merchandise as well as the featured works will be considered. Please express your interest in the submission form.

COLLECTION AT END OF EXHIBITION:

Sold works will remain on display until the exhibition closes.

Artwork will be available for collection on Monday 29 April, from 9am – 3pm.

Please ensure that you, or someone that you trust can collect your work. 

If you are having someone else collect for you, please provide the name and phone number of both the artist and the person collecting the artwork to the email below.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW:

Names of artists and works may be published in advertising the exhibition.
