Drop-in Pantry

Drop-in Pantry

Jesus calls us to love our neighbours and to especially care for those who are most in need. One of these needs is providing food to those who can’t afford it. Here at St John’s, we would really love to help out those who need a little extra support.

If you’re in need of some practical support, get in touch and we’d love to connect with you. If you would like to volunteer to help then please register your interest here.

Drop-in Pantry

A community pantry has been started at St John’s, with the intention of loving others by extending a helping hand to those who are finding the cost of living tough right now. We hope that this can be practical help, as well as giving people a safe place to chat, receive support and make connections.

Pantry access hours:
Monday, 1:30 — 3:00 PM

We supply a wide range of items such as:

  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Cereals
  • Long-life milk (dairy and non-dairy)
  • Canned fish and meat
  • Canned fruit and vegetables
  • Instant meals
  • Cooking sauces,
  • Toiletries and personal care
  • Biscuits
  • Museli bars

Please BYO bags!

The pantry is located inside the portable building at the top of the carpark at St John’s Diamond Creek.
Everyone is welcome! Come and collect your items and if you like, stop for a relax and a chat.

If you would like to donate, please drop in your items to the church office Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 AM — 3:00 PM. Thankyou so much, this makes such a difference!
