St John’s Kids & Families, 13 May 2022

Don’t forget, the Church Picnic is this week – Sunday 15 May, from 11:30am.

This is a chance for people across all our in-person and digital services to connect with each other socially. ALL WELCOME!

Anthony Beale Reserve Playground, 277 St Helena Rd.

BYO lunch (there are BBQ facilities available). There are also great facilities for kids, so bring your cricket bats, basketballs, scooters etc.

Hope to see you there.

Dinner & Games Event for St John’s Kids in Grades 1/2/3 – Friday 3 June.

Invites have been sent out, so check your inbox and contact me if you haven’t received yours.

This is an event for kids across all our in-person and digital services. If you are relatively new to St John’s or connect with our digital service, this is a great way to meet and build relationships with others, but we may not yet have your contact details, so please reach out to me.

Going Bananas: Anchors Aweigh! – Wed 29 June – Fri 1 July

Holiday Program for Primary School Kids

Parents, sign up to our launch list to be notified as soon as registrations open. Advertising postcards are available at in-person services, to pick up and pass on to friends and family.

Volunteers, we need your help to make this program the best ever! If you’ve been involved before, you’ll be familiar with how things run so register your interest here or sign up on the physical sheets in the foyer this weekend. If you’d like more information about what’s involved with leading/assisting our small groups, helping with craft, games, and other activities, contact me and I’d love to have a chat.

Life Groups are an important part of the life of our church. They are small groups that meet during the week to delve into God’s word, pray together, build relationships, and support each other pastorally.

It can be difficult for parents of young children to regularly attend an evening group together. One of the options available is an alternating men/women’s group, so that only one parent is out each week. The men meet fortnightly on a Wednesday evening and the women meet on the alternate weeks, with a choice of Tuesday or Wednesday nights.

If you are interested in this Life Group or would like information about groups that run on other days/times, please contact Delle Matthews.

Have a great week,

Kylie – Children & Families’ Minister

St John’s is committed to Child Safety and welcomes your feedback on how we can keep improving.
