Hey Parents,
St John’s very own, Lenny Barras has recently joined the team at Big Kids’ Table! The Big Kids’ Table (BKT) exists to be an informative, loving perspective and to create safe, honest conversations about Kingdom identity, sexual experience and the expression of sexual desire.
Lenny’s role at BKT will be to develop resources and run sessions to support parents of young people as they navigate conversations about sex and relationships.
So, how can you help?
As parents/carers of young people, BKT want your perspective on how you teach, grow and nourish your children in this area of life. We acknowledge that this is a big topic to unpack and your feedback is going to help us pull together information and resources to distribute to parents like yourself. Supporting parents/carers to have these important conversations is key to the work BKT will be doing directly with young people and churches.
